Is run by Dave McGarvie & Susie Thomason who before retiring from the DVSA as driving test examiners re-qualified as DVSA Driving Instructors, ADI’s.
After conducting tens of 1000’s of driving tests, Dave & Susie are more than qualified to know why and how people don’t pass their driving!
They won’t say they’ve seen it all, no one can ever say that! However they’ve probably seen 99% of the reasons for failing the driving test.
Rather than doing nothing about it they’ve used that knowledge & ‘Reverse Engineered’ those same reasons for failing, directly into the content of their unique driver training courses.
Dave & Susie have included all of the professional standards required by the DVSA into their fantastic driving training courses for both Learner drivers & PDI/ADI’s.
Your lessons will be centred around YOUR learning needs, at a pace that suits you, and delivered in a relaxed & informative manner.
‘Ready To Pass’ training courses are not the same as the majority of ‘L’ Driver Training & ‘ADI’ Training you will receive from other driver training schools!
We’ve designed our training to prepare you to a standard well above what’s required for the driving test and we start that from day 1 of your training.
Our training will ensure you’ll be both ready to pass your driving test(s) Plus as a new driver you’ll be Safe & Confident for life.
We cover every aspect of the the DVSA car driving syllabus, including all types of manoeuvres, all types of roads & weather conditions including motorways & even taking you through the Mersey tunnels.
As passionate advocates of Road Safety we’ve signed up to deliver the ‘Engage’ programme (a local award winning road safety award scheme) during your driving lessons
The syllabus for our courses exceed the DVSA’s & “Ordit’s” as we have ‘Reverse Engineered’ all of the known reasons people fail their driving tests into the syllabus (This knowledge can only be gained by driving test examiners!) this will ensure that EVERYONE who uses our training will be ‘READY TO PASS’ whatever test they were training for.

Susie Thomason
Susie has been involved in the driving industry for over two decades, firstly as a Driving Instructor for many years. Throughout that time gaining further Advanced Driver Training and a BTEC in Driving Instruction along with numerous workshops.
Prior to this she was a Trainer with a large Financial company training colleagues on new computer software/ financial products.
Susie was also a very successful Netball coach for Clubs and County teams.
Susie has also been a Driving Test Examiner with the DVSA for many years working at numerous Test Centres around the country conducting tens' of 1000's of Driving Tests.
Susie is hard working & professional with an easy going personality and dedicated to working with you along with Dave to achieve your goals on one of your most special of learning journeys. Let's enjoy it!
Dave McGarvie
Dave has a wealth of driving experience with qualifications for Police Advanced Driving in both car & motorcycles
Over the years he has been a police motorcyclist, Motorcycle Instructor, Approved Driving Instructor with his own driving school & also had a successful Under 17 driving school!
Most recently Dave has been a DVSA Driving Test Examiner based at Upton Driving Test Centre-Wirral having conducted tens of 1,000's of driving tests, gaining an expert knowledge of just why people fail their driving test!
As a direct result of the extensive driver training & testing expertise he & Susie are equipped to help you pass your driving test & become a Safe & Confident driver!
